The Distinctions brand of PTAC units are stocked and sold from the same warehouse as the Amana brand PTAC products customers have come to love over the years. All units are 100% run tested including leak checks during manufacturing and again prior to shipment at the warehouse. The DCP093A35AA comes equipped with automatic freeze protection. If the PTAC unit senses the temperature drop below 40 degrees, the fan motor and electric heat strip will turn on without user intervention. Manufacturers are constantly working to improve the quality and efficiency of our products. Therefore, we send the most revised model to our customers. This may result in slight differences in models received. System sizing can be determined based on the square footage of the area, the quality of insulation, the number of doors and windows, and the climate zone for your location.
