Compatibility: This 2 pack spa filter fits for Pleatco PBF40 and PBF40M, compatible with bullfrog/wellspring 30 Coreless 10-00282, Please note: This filter has no slot, but it has a larger size opening at the bottom, Larger bottom opening can fit the notch of spa mounting assembly well. If your hot tub was made before 2017, you may also need to buy the filter cartridge adapter 10-00417. It does not fit the STIL series spas. Product Parameters: This PBF40 PBF40M Replacement Filter has an open hole 3 3/8 inch (3.375") on the top, 4 1/2 inch (4.5") open hole at the bottom, 6 1/4inch (6.25") length, 8 inch (8") diameter, contains 30 square feet premium spunbond filter material. Larger bottom opening can fit the notch of spa mounting assembly well. It does not include threaded core, filter only. --Please check the fitment and product size of your original filter carefully before buying to avoid wrong purchase. Install Suggestion: The narrow opening goes up, the wider goes down. You can see a little notch on the bottom side of the filter when looking into the hot tub where the bottom of the filter seals. Line them up. It takes a little finesse to feel when they're lined up when the filter won't spin. You may feel the top move a little, but the bottom won't spin because the notch is "locked".
